According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan was driving his own car. Chairman CDA Amir Ahmed Ali was also present with the Prime Minister. No staff member of the Prime Minister's Office was with the Prime Minister.


Sources said that the Prime Minister visited Argentina Park, Trail Five, Marghzar and Margalla Road and also inspected the plants planted in the tree planting campaign.

According to sources, the Prime Minister also inspected the repaired roads in Islamabad while the Chairman CDA briefed the Prime Minister on the development works.

On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting to review the progress of the Public Sector Development Program for the financial year 2019-20, in which Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood, Minister for National Food Security Khusro Bakhtiar, Special Assistant for Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan and other ministers Planning  officers were present.

The Prime Minister was given a detailed briefing on the progress of the Public Sector Development Program for the financial year 2019-20 in the first and second quarters. The meeting was informed that 380 new schemes have been launched by the government under the Public Sector Development Program for the current financial year.

Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that despite the difficult economic conditions, the government is making every effort to achieve the next stage of stabilization in the form of economic growth. He said that our vision is to move the country on the path of sustainable economic development for which long term comprehensive planning is of utmost importance. The Prime Minister said that inter-ministerial liaison and coordination are of key importance in the long run and comprehensive planning.

The Prime Minister was informed that the present Government has facilitated the process of approval of various projects and release of funds for the approved projects so that no project is delayed due to lack of funds or delay. The Prime Minister said that timely implementation of projects under the Public Sector Development Program would help in accelerating the economic process in the country and create more job opportunities.

In this context, the Prime Minister directed that the pace of implementation of various projects should be constantly monitored and it should be ensured that any development project or scheme suffers from any kind of delay or delay due to red tape or any other reasons.
